Hi, may I know the minimum age criteria to register for class 9th under CBSE Board curriculum? Is there any relaxation for any caste category? Is the age requirement same for ICSE Board as well?

The age criteria for CBSE Class 10th board examination registration suggests that the age of candidate by the 1st October of the same year in which the registration is taking place must be at least 13 years in other way you can say it like that the candidate's age must be at least 14 years as on the 1st October of that year in which the candidate got admitted to his/her Class 10th.

As far as you are concerned about the age criteria followed by ICSE, then in the case of ICSE there is no centralized age criteria and it follows the age criteria set by concerned state education board in which the school is situated.
