what is the minimum age for cbse 10nth class exams

Hello sir/madam,

My Name is Meenakshi, and Date of birth of my child is 15.04.2010 and she is studying in nursery.
I want to know that she will eligible for 10th standard at the age of same date of birth according to CBSE board or any problem we will face in future, kindly show the way?

I was born on 2001. So when I can give my board exam.

hello mam,

as date of birth of your child is 15.04.2010 and she is in class nursery,

she will be eligible for class 10th board, as she is in nursery, then she will move to pre lkg, ukg then class 1, one of my friend's date of birth is 8.12.94 and he completed his class 10th board exam in 2009 at the age of 14years 3months,

so i advice you to see to it that she studies prekg or lkg and then only class 1, and so take it easy your daughter will be able to write her 10th board exam, as per changing rules of cbse who knows may 10th board vanishes for future ,

CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education and same is a board of examination managed by HRD ministry of India offering education upto higher secondary school level in English medium.

Since you are concerned about the age limit of for appearing in CBSE Class 10th board examination ( All India Secondary School Examination, AISSE ) then it is 14 years by the 1st October of that year in which you are pursuing your Class 10th.

So being on 22.10.2004 your daughter is not eligible for appearing in AISSE 2019 as for the same her age is required to be at least 14 years by the 1st October 2018 which is not the case.
