After MBBS, you are not eligible to pursue a course M.Ch (Cardiothoracic Surgery). For pursuing this course, you should have minimum qualification MD/MS/DNB with at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university and registered with medical council of India. Also you should have experience of at least 24 months in surgery field.

Top Institutes for M.Ch (Cardiotheracic Surgery)
- All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi
- Christian Medical College, Vellore
- Madras Medical College, Chennai
- Armed Forces Medical College, Pune
- Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical College and Research, Pondicherry
