I want to change the father's name in 10th mark sheet of session 2017-18. Please, share the procedure for applying for the change of name. It is very urgent because I have to apply for passport so there will be a need of mark sheet.

The common eligibility to get admission in B.Sc course is that candidate must have passed 12th from science stream.

So, candidate passed 12th in science stream are eligible to get admission in the B.Sc course.

For correction of your name or your father's name in the 10th marksheet you have to go to your school principal and tell him about your problem then he or she will talk with the Board Council for the correction of the name and also for reissuing the marksheet. So you need to write an application to the school principal and mentioning the problem.

There will be no correction made in the original marksheet but if you want any correction in the certificate you will get a new duplicate certificate.

For correction you can visit the board office or it's regional office. In some of the board there is fee for new certificate so visit the office for more details.

In order to make correction in father's name in 10th certificate, you have to contact the board officials about this mistake and you have to write an application for correction. It will take some time of one or two months and you will definitely get the corrected name on your marksheet.
You can also contact your school from where you have studied and they will let you know what you have to do in order to correction in name and school is responsible for all the correction hence they will forward your application to the board.
