IF you want to apply for the IRS than you have to apply for the UPSC Civil services Exams.
This exam is held to fill seats in 24 departments like: Tndian Administrative Service. (IAS) Indian Foreign Service.(IFS) Indian Police Service.(IPS) Indian P & T Accounts & Finance Service, Group ‘A’. Indian Audit and Accounts Service, Group ‘A’. Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Central Excise), Group ‘A’. (IRS) Indian Defence Accounts Service, Group ‘A’. Indian Revenue Service (I.T.), Group ‘A’. Indian Ordnance Factories Service, Group ‘A’ (Assistant Works Manager, Administration). Eligibility to apply for the UPSC Civil Services exams: Educational Qualifications :Graduation pass in any Stream AGE- Minimum 21 years Maximum 30 years Candidates belonging to OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations ATTEMPTS- General candidates- 4 times OBC- 7 times SC/ST- No such restriction |

IRS Stands fro Indian Revenue Services. IRS Exam is conduct by UPSC Department. UPSC Conduct this examination at national level every year. Qualifications:: Nationality: you must a citizen of India. Education: you must complete your graduation degree in any stream from recognized University. Age Limit: your age must between 21 - 30 years. Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC Candidates. Examination pattern:: Three Stages for Getting Selection in IRS Examination. UPSC Have almost Fixed Criteria for Civil services examination. There is no specific exam as IRS examination.
IRS - Indian Revenue Service and to become an IRS officer one has to crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good Physical Fitness, can apply for IRS, Civil Service Exam. Friend, IRS stands for Indian Revenue Service. Like IPS and IAS, the IRS comes under Civil Service Examination. Candidate aspiring of IRS must have to sit in Civil Service Examination.
NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS PERMISSIBLE FOR DIFFERENT CATEGORIES FOR CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION ARE: # Only 04 attempts are permissible for Unreserved category. # Only 07 attempts are permissible for OBC Category. # Unlimited number of attempts are permissible for SC/ST Category. To become an IRS officer you must have to crack the UPSC CSAT exam this exam is also known as IAS exam. there is no individual exam for IRS only. CSAT exam have three phase 1. Prelims 2. Mains 3. Interview After clearing all the stage you can find the IRS post on the basis of your ranking / merit. Eligibility Criteria OF CSAT exam Candidate should be graduate from recognized university Final year candidate are also eligible for this exam. there is no limit of percentage marks. Nationality- must be Indian Age Limit General 21 to 30 year OBC 21 to 33 year SC/ST 21 to 35 year Number of Limit General candidate can attempt 4 times OBC candidate can attempt 7 times SC/ST have no restriction till above age limit For more information you can visit www.upsc.gov.in good luck |
