What is the qualification required to appear for IAS entrance exam?


wot is the qualification to appear in ias entrance exam? can i attend the exam if i have studyed bca?

(ii) Minimum Educational Qualifications:
The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.

Note I:
Candidates who have appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the Commission's examination but have not been informed of the results as also the candidates who intend to appear at such a qualifying examination will also be eligible for admission to the Preliminary Examination. All candidates who are declared qualified by the Commission for taking the Civil Services (Main) Examination will be required to produce proof of passing the requisite examination with their application for the Main Examination failing which such candidates will not be admitted to the Main Examination.

Note II:

In exceptional cases the Union Public Service Commission may treat a candidate who has not any of the foregoing qualifications as a qualified candidate provided that he has passed examination conducted by the other Institutions, the standard of which in the opinion of the Commission justifies his admission to the examination.

Note III:

Candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications, which are recognised by Government, as equivalent to professional and technical degree would also be eligible for admission to the examination.

Note IV:

Candidates who have passed the final professional M.B.B.S. or any other Medical Examination but have not completed their internship by the time of submission of their applications for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, will be provisionally admitted to the Examination provided they submit along with their application a copy of certificate from the concerned authority of the University/Institution that they had passed the requisite final professional medical examination. In such cases, the candidates will be required to produce at the time of their interview original Degree or a certificate from the concerned competent authority of the University/Institution that they had completed all requirements (including completion of internship) for the award of the Degree.

In order to appear for the Civil Service Examination (for IAS/IPS/IFS), one must fulfill the following criteria:
  • The candidate must possess a bachelors degree in any discipline awarded by a recognized university.
  • He/She must be within the age limit of 21-30 years. The maximum age limit is relaxed upto 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC category and 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
Since you possess a bachelors degree in computer applications, you too will be considered eligible for the Civil Service Examination. This examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission and it comprise of the following stages:
  • Preliminary Examination
Written Test
  • Main Examination
Written Test
Interview

The Civil Service Examination is conducted once a year and the notification for the same is published on the official website of Union Public Service Commission as well as in India's leading newspapers.

Academic Qualification :
The candidate must be graduate from any university.

Age Limit :
For General :21 to 30 years.[SC/ST will get 5 years age relaxation and OBC will get 3 year age relaxation]

No Of Attempts :
General : 4.
OBC :7.
SC/ST: Unlimited.

well yes,you can apply for ias or ips after completing your graduation,the eligibility criteria for applying in ias or ips is
1)minimum qualification-graduation in any discipline that is any stream
and there is no minimum percentage require
2)age limit-21 to 30 years,21-33 years,21-35 years for sc/st
3)number of attempts 4-for general category,7-obc,unlimited

Hai,

IAS(Indian Administrative Service) exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) only one time in a year.

IAS exam details:-

Educational qualification:-

**The candidate should be citizen of India.

**The candidate should be complete any graduation from a recognised university.

**Final year appearing candidates can also be eligible.

Age criteria:-

**For general candidates 21 years to 30years,

**3years age relaxation for OBC

**5Years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Hello dear, the qualification and eligibility is as follows:

Age limits : 21-30 years as on 1.7.2013.


Educational Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.


Attempts : Four (Seven attemps of OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs .


Fee :
Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only)
(No fee for SCs/STs/Physically disabled only)

Educational Qualifications:-

1:You have to be Graduate of 3 years course in any
discipline from a recognized university with
minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put
together and have Physics and Mathematics at
10+2 level.
or
You should have a degree of BE / B Tech of 4 years
course from a recognized university with minimum
60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

2. Final year students can also apply,having no
backlog and minimum 60 % aggregate marks in the previous year's semesters.Generally,the notice is published in the month of March and September every year.




Exam pattern:-

*** Preliminary exam

*** Main examination

*** Interview


Age limt:-

***Candidate age should be between 21 to 30 for general candidate .

***Tthere is age relaxation for reserved category


Attempts:-

***For General Candidates 4 times allowed.

The exam for IAS is conducted bu UPSC(union public service commission) for recruiting eligible candidates. the candidates should fullfill the given eligibility
criterias while applying for IAS exam-

Qualification :-

*** The candidate should have completed any graduation from recognised university/colleges.

*** The candidates should have scored atleast 55% marks in graduation.

Age limit:-

*** The age of the candidates should be between 21-35 years.

*** Their will be relaxation for reserved category candidates as per governmebt rule.

Exam pattern:-

*** Preliminary exam

*** Main examination

*** Interview

Maximum Attempt Limit :-

*** GENERAL- 4 attempt

*** OBC- 7 attempt

*** SC/ST- no limit

1)You should be citizen of India.
2)You should have completed your bachelors.
3)Your age should range from 21-30.
4)The open caste candidate can give four attempts,OBC candidate can give 7 attempts and their is no limit for attempts, for any other caste candidate.
IAS exams are tough they are made to test your level if you really want to crack exams you have to devote yourself completely to studies.

IAS stands for the Indian Administration Service.For this one have to appear in the civil service exam.CSE exam is conducted by the UPSC every year for the various officers posts.

The Qualification required for this exam is, to have a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognised university.There is no percentage bar for appearing in this exam.

There is age bar for the various category:-

For GE:- Age should be 21 years to 32 years.

For SC/ST/PD:- Age should be 21 years to 37 years.

For OBC:- Age should be 21 years to 35 years.


NO. of Attempts:-

For GE:- 4
For OBC:- 7
For SC/ST/PD:- No limit.
