Dear friend,

PO stands for Probationary Officer.

To become PO you are required to clear bank PO exams conducted by various banks.
The exam is held every year.

The common exams held are of IBPS which accounts 19 banks under it.

State Bank of India conducts its own examination.

Some private banks lke ICICI, Axis bank etc. also conducts their own examination.

You can give these exams only if you follow some eligibility norms:

You should have Minimum 60% marks in your graduation.
(For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC category minimum 55% marks are required).

Computer literacy is also an essential qualification.

Your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

there is age relaxation given in case of reserved categories:

SC/ST- 5YRS
OBC- 3YRS
PC- 10 YRS.
