What is the scope and job opportunities with degrees in Mathematics?
Hi, I am very much interested in Mathematics. Presently, I have completed my 12th from Science stream with PCM subject combination. I want to make a career in Mathematics field. So, which course should I study now? How is the career scope and job opportunities with Mathematics in India?

Go for B.sc in Pure Mathematics. There are numerous job opportunities in field of Mathematics.
Job scope are: 1. Govt. Teacher : after B.sc take a B.ed course to become a govt. teacher. 2. Lecturer in Universities: after having M.sc , crack NET or SET to become a lecturer 3. Defence 4. ISRO 5. Statistician 6. Surveyor in ministry If you want private sector jobs then you can be recruited as Data Analyst/ Market Researcher/ Risk Management/ Computin department. |
