what is the scope of m.b.a. In pharma?
I want to know this courses colleges details.

Pursuing an MBA after B.pharm is a good option as the B.pharm + Pharma MBA is the an awesome combination....
Actually there are two type of courses available ...
1. Pharma MBA - Available in institutes like NMIMS, NIPER, Symbiosis etc.
2. M.PHARM in pharmaceutical marketing- available at MANIPAL UNIVERSITY, AL-AMEEN COLLEGE OF PHARMACY etc.
Both the course are almost equivalent....

Career prospect after mba (pharm) in India is good, as India is the world’s largest pharmaceutical country due to its highest population.

Followings are the best institutes to study it:-

NIPMER: there are five nipmer’s in India,admission to its MBA (pharma) course is based on CET (commomn entrance test).The minimum eligibility criteria for it is candidate must have scored atleast 60% aggregate in graduation.

Indian institute of pharmaceutical marketing (IIPM),lucknowffers direct admission on the basis of marks obtained in graduation and on first come first serve basis.
NMIMS university (you have to appear for pharmaceutical management test)

Osmania university,hydrabad :distance learning program admission is through entrance test.

either you can pursue mba in pharma or you can first gain work experience in any pharma company to learn its nuances and then join a good mba college.....its a very good combination
