Quote:
Quantitative techniques are essential in pursuing MBA, there are various specialisations in MBA, viz Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations Chains Management, Financial Markets, Supply Chain Management etc. Only in case of Human Resource Management, Qunatitative Techniques/Maths is least required. Since you are interested in a stream that involves least application of maths, so I think MBA in HR is the best option for you. |

Hi Aspirant
First their is no need to take maths if you really don't like it because burden on you will increase if you will take it and specially in commerce stream their is no need of maths at all because i am also a commerce student and i had done this big mistake as i had maths subject and economics was my additional subject but unfortunately in commerce filed their is no need of maths in future and you will need only maths if you want to make career in maths only like msc with maths otherwise their is no need of maths. In commerce whether it is B.COM Course or it is CA Or CS Means in all fields maths will not come but economics will come and it will come through out the life in the commerce filed so rather than leaving the commerce leave the maths subject and from the Point of MBA. Yes the CAT Entrance exam maths come but the level of maths will be at below 10th standard and also while doing Mba their will be not subject of maths like you can do mba in Management,Finance and Human Resource Management and in all these maths subject will not come and mostly commerce subjects like economics,Accounts and Business studies will come so better would be to work hard in these and specially in Accounts. Final decision will be your's as i have described all about commerce filed and all other things and also my personal experience. Best of luck |
