Hi, I would be appearing for my 12th Board exams very soon from Science stream. After that I want to write the CDS examination. So, how much minimum should I score in Intermediate to be eligible to write the CDS exam?

CDS stands for Combined Defense Services and CDS entrance examination is held by UPSC twice every year by UPSC.

Further, the minimum education required for appearing in the same examination is a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Now, as far as you are concerned about the minimum marks required in intermediate for appearing in CDS entrance examination then there is no such requirement either at intermediate level or at graduation level.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree or in the final year of the course from a recognised university.

Candidates with qualifying in bachelor degree are eligible to appear in the examination. Examination is conducted in two stages. There is no minimum required aggregate in intermediate to appearing for the examination.

CDS is not for intermediate students .Only graduates are eligible for this examination. You can appear on NDA examination. It is also a defence related examination through which candidates can go in Army , Navy , Air Force as a captain. Minimum 75% of marks is required to fill up NDA 's form.

Also, there is no requirement of minimum marks to secured at any stage of academics for appearing in the same examination.

So, you need not have to be worried about the minimum marks which you need to manage in your Class 12th for appearing in the CDS examination.
