Hi, I will be writing my 12th Board exams from Science stream this year and after that I would like to do BA. So, how much minimum should I score in 12th Board exams to get BA admission in good UGC recognized colleges? And, which specialization would be best in BA having good market scope?

The selection will be based on the index score you secured .Index score stands for points of main subjects that you have studied in the 12 th plus the grace marks or other achievements or participation in any service organization etc.Some universities conduct entrance tests while some other select students purely on the basis of their merits.But in a general sense ,it can be said that you will get admission in a recognized university if you have scored atleast not less than 70% in 12 th examination.This percentage itself indicates that you have a potential to perform better also entrance tests.

There is no such percentage requirement in 12th standard to be eligible for pursuing BA course recognized by UGC.

Student should have completed 12th standard with any percentage from any recognized Board to be eligible for pursuing BA course.

B.A is Bachelor in Arts. The eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board.

Candidates passed 12th in Science stream are eligible to get admission in Arts stream.

The required minimum aggregate to get admission varies with institutions. Admission procedure varies with institutions. So, visit official website to get admission in the respective B.A stream.

In most of UGC recognized colleges and universities they have entrance tests for admission procedures along with merit basis.Some colleges give admission purely on merit basis.But in a general sense you should score at least not less than 70% of marks in 12 th board exams.The course you should select is purely given to your interest.But some of the courses that have a wide market scope includes psychology,microbiology,biochemistry,biotechnology ,biostatistics etc .Pure science subjects are also good.There are many other courses that you can think of
