What is the standard eye sight criteria for joining Indian Army?
My eyesight is Myopic -3.5. Can I join Indian Army with this eye sight? I am 18 years old now. Is there any eyesight relaxation for any caste category candidates?

For a male candidate, the minimum acceptable visual acuity are distant vision better eye 6/6 and words eye 6/18.
Myopia of not more than -3.5 D and manifest hypermetropia of not more than + 3.5 including asitgmatism. |

Eye standards for Indian Army:-
The eyesight requirement of the post in Indian Army is maintained below:- Uncorrect without glass - 6/12 Correct with glass - 6/ 6. |
