My eyesight power is -1.00. With this am I eligible for Merchant Navy? Are lens allowed in Merchant Navy? What should be our standard eye sight requirement?

Different eyesight eligibility criteria :-
1-Deck Cadet
Must have a vision of 6/6 in both eyes or 6/9 in one of the worst eyes.
2-Engine Cadet
Must have a gaison of 6/12 in both eyes or 6/9 in the better eye and 6/18 in the worst eye.
3- kitchen
6/18 vision in both eyes or 6/12 in the better eye and 6/24 in the worst eye.
To get into Merchant Navy, one needs to have a vision of 6/6 w8thout spectacles. This is possible with laser and no color blindness for Nautical officers and for Engineering officers.
