What is the upper age limit for LLB under IGNOU's curriculum?
Hi, I have completed my B.A. via distance mode of education and presently doing job in State Government and my age is 49 years. Am I eligible to do LLB via distance mode of education from any university? Is there any age cap? What about IGNOU?

Re: What is the upper age limit for LLB under IGNOU's curriculum?
After the supreme court of India criticized their decision of the maximum age limit of 20 years for taking admission to the 5-year integrated law degree, Bar Council of India as an interim measure decided to increase the upper age limit for 5-year LLB course from 20 to 22, and for 3-year LLB from 30 to 45, reported legal affairs portal Livelaw.

Re: What is the upper age limit for LLB under IGNOU's curriculum?
According to Bar Council of India, LLB degree cannot be earned via distance mode.
Any candidate (age no bar) can pursue LLB from regular college. And IGNOU does not offer LLB degree. Delhi University offers LLB course in morning and evening session. Any 12th passed (no restriction in age) can pursue LLB from here. |
