What we have to do for getting Train Driver job?
Hi, I want the Train Driver job. So, how can I get it? What should be my educational qualification for this? How can I apply for it? Is there any entrance?

To become a train driver that means assistant loco pilot, you must complete an ITI course of minimum two years.
Indian Railways conducts ALP examination for recruiting loco pilots. |

Train Driver job or Locopilot job is filled through RRB Group D exam conducted by RRB (i.e. Railway Recruitment Board).
To be eligible for this exam, your age must be between 18 to 28 years. Educational qualifications required for this job is mentioned below: ITI in Fitter/Electrician/Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile To apply for this post, you will have to apply on RRB website. Note that each railway zone has its own RRB official site. |
