Dear friend
In 2010 the CS notification came in the 1st week of Jan. LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS was 1st Feb. CIVIL SERVICES (PREL.) EXAM held on 23rd may. And the results of prelims is awaited. the main exam will commence from 29 Oct.
This is all about the dates. The similar pattern will be followed next year. You should start checking from the month of Dec for the CS 2011 schedule.

It Clearly states that the dates have passed 0n 2nd march.

yes you can apply for cs after completing your b.com

The application form are available throut the year ,you can get it from the institute of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India..

For admission you will have to fill Application Form. You can get the Application Form by Cash Payment of Rs200/-

Or by Post/Courier DD/PO of Rs250/- drawn in favour of “The Institute of Company Secretaries of India” payable at New Delhi.

Yes you can fill it online at www.icsi.in. You need a credit card or net banking to pay.

Schedule for the year 2010 with regard to various Cut-Off Dates for services pertaining to Students

It is noticed that every year, certain cut-off dates relating to acceptance of Registration/ Admission / Examination Enrollment Applications to the CS Course coincide with Gazetted Holidays/ Bank Holidays, etc. thus creating hardships to the student community. As per practice, the Institute has been granting relaxation on such cut-off dates to the students as a special case and publicising such details well in advance to avoid any confusion at the end of the students as well as the Regional Councils and Chapters.
