When can I write the IPCC group 1 exam having registered in December, 2019?


I have to register with the Chartered Accountants Institute. I am a graduate having qualified in 2019. What is the earliest I can appear for the IPCC exam? I heard that I cannot write for the first 9 months after registration. Is it true? So, I won't be able to write my IPCC group 1 exam in May, 2020?

Yes , It is true that once you get registered with ICAI for IPCC now Intermediate Course there is at least 9 months gap to appear for the exam.
