Re: Whether students are not allowed to sit in CBSE 10th Board exam if failed in quarterly exam?
The general rule is that yes, school can detain students who fail in quarterly examination before tenth board examination. But in most of scenario, school puts up such notices to warn students so that they can focus better on studies. Lastly, they give admit card to appear for board exams.
However, it totally depends upon their discretion. You should not take them for granted. Prepare well and promise them that you will score good marks in pre board exam. |

It totally depends upon school's discretion.
If they do not allow then you cannot apply for CBSE 10th board examination. You said request your school to allow on promise that you will score well in board examination. On taking undertaking, school may allow to appear for board exams. |

Re: Whether students are not allowed to sit in CBSE 10th Board exam if failed in quarterly exam?
1. In most of cases, students studying in tenth board examination are allowed to sit in main board examination. The final decision to allow or deny depends upon school administration in which you are studying.
2. You can secure good marks in coming quarterly exam so that school can allow for main board exam. |
