You are asking this question then i think that you are in general category. If it is right then you can't get mechanical in top 3 NIT but you may get other branch.

sir i am getting 172 marks in aieee held last week..
i belong to oc(girl) and from andhra pradesh
is there any chances of getting chemical engineering in nit warangal?

can i get into nit warangal after scoring around 260 in BArch.I am from AP and belong to open category.

i got 215 marks in aieee 2012 and belong to andhra pradesh and got air 9811 and state rank of 1900 can i get a seat of ece or cse or mechanical in top 3 nits
