Hello Sir, somebody told me that for the PGT post in DSSSB, B.Ed qualification not at all compulsory, if we had 1st division from 10 to M.A. Is it right? Please tell me.

No, it is not a correct information which you have mentioned above. Candidates who are interested to apply for DSSSB PGT position, should complete their master's degree from a recognized university. They must also have a B.Ed or M.Ed qualification from a recognized institute which is mandatory.

For PGT position the age limit is upto 36 years. For SC/ST candidates the age is 41 years, for OBC it is 39 years and for PWD/Women it is relaxed by 10 years.

Yes B.Ed course is mandatory in order to be eligible for PGT post in DSSSB recruitment. Here is the detailed educational qualification that is required.

<> You must have done a 2 year B.Ed from any recognized university compulsorily from Delhi Board (or) else degree or Diploma in training or graduation.

<> Besides this, you must have completed M.Ed in the same stream. And you must either have done M.Ed or M.A in concerned subject followed by M.Ed to be able to fill up for the PGT vacancies in Delhi

<> Maximum age must not exceed 30 years for General category candidates and there will be an age relaxation for reserved category candidates.

Yes, BEd is mandatory for PGT post but it is not mandatory to become a college lecturer.
So, if you want to join in school then you have to pursue BEd otherwise to become lecturer your qualification is enough.

No you can't its compulsory to have a b.ed or any elementary diploma in school education from a government recognise and approved institution.
