Wants to join army commando after 12th non medical so tell me commando training institute which can prepare me for it.

Commando is a elite force of Indian Army. So if you wanted to be a Commando you have to first of all join Indian Army as a Soldier or as an Officer. Indian Army issues notification time-to-time for recruitment of Commandos. Individuals working in Army can apply and they have to undergo 6 months training in the Special Forces regiments.


Eligibility Criteria for Soldier:

-You have to complete the 10th or any equivalent examination and there is no relaxation for other cast people all have the same common rules.
-You should not crosses the maximum age limit of 23 years and have the minimum age limit of 18 years
-Your eyesight should be Normal and no defects (i.e) 6/6
-You must be an Indian citizen
-Your height should be Minimum of 157 cm
-You have to take the command training courses in specified steps.

4. Air force academy dundigal
5. Guard commando force new delhi
6. The Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School mizoram

I have two questions. They are -
1) How can I apply for Indian Army after completion of class 12?
2) After being in Indian Army, how can I apply for becoming a Commando Officer?
