Details for Sub Inspector of Police selection in Bangalore (KAR):-

Physical requirements:-

Height: The minimum height requirement for male candidates is 168 cm and for female candidates, it is 157 cm. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST), the minimum height requirement is 160 cm for males and 152 cm for females.

Chest: For male candidates, the minimum chest size is 86 cm when fully expanded and a minimum expansion of 5 cm is required. However, for female candidates, chest measurement is not applicable.

Weight: The weight of the candidate should be proportionate to his/her height and age.

Age limit: The candidate should be between 21 to 28 years of age. However, age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government rules.

Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution. However, candidates with a degree in Criminology or Forensic Science will be given preference.
