Eligibility to appear in UPPSC Combined State Service exam for MCA postgraduate?


Hello, I am an MCA postgraduate. I want to appear in UPPSC Combined State Service examination. Since many people said that only engineering students can give UPPSC Combined State Service examination. I have searched a lot online but haven’t get the proper eligibility criteria. So, can you tell me the eligibility criteria for me?

UPPSC stands for Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. The eligibility criteria for UPPSC Combined State Service examination are:

>>Candidate must have done bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. You are a MCA post graduate which means that you must have done you must have done bachelor's degree.

They are wrong, you are definitely eligible for this examination.

>>The age criteria for the examination is 21-40 years. For OBC and SC/ST candidates, there is upper age relaxation of three years and five years respectively.

Being a MCA ( Master of Computer Application ) degree holder you are certainly eligible for appearing in UPPSC ( Uttar Pradesh Pubic Service Commission ) Combined State Service examination as far as the educational requirement for appearing in the same examination is concerned.

Further, the minimum education required for appearing in the same examination is a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a particular discipline is required in case of applying for a particular posts.

Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized college/university are eligible to apply for UPPSC Combined State Service examination. The age of the candidate should be minimum 21 years and can apply upto 40 years. Age relaxation of 3 and 5 years will be applicable for OBC and SC/ST candidates. As you are a MCA graduate, so you are eligible to apply for the recruitment.

Yes, you are eligible to appear in UPPSC examination.

The examination is conducted for recruitment as an officer in various department of state service.

The required eligibility to appear in examination is that :-

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

Age limit is 21-40 years.

Eligibility Criteria Required to appear in UPPSC Combined State Service Examination:

There are several posts come under this Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission recruitment. The basic qualification required generally varies from post to post and some of the posts available are,
> District Basik Shiksha Adhikari
> Sub Registrar, Assistant Prosecuting Officer
> District Administrative Officer
> Assistant Labour Commissioner
> Assistant Director
> District Audit Officer
> Assistant Controller Legal Measurement..etc.,

Hence, with Post Graduation (MCA) qualification you are eligible for certain posts like
* District Basik Shiksha Adhikari
or
* Associate DIOS and other equivalent administrative posts
or
* District Administrative Officer

To get official notification visit at www.uppcs.up.nic.in.

You are eligible to appear in examination. Candidate with bachelor degree qualification are eligible to appear in examination.

The age limit is 21-40 years with relaxation for reserved category.

Eligibility for appearing in the UP PCS Exam-

• The individual must be citizen of India.
• Candidate should be domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
• Age- 21 years to 40 years.
• Candidate must be at least graduate ( belonging to any stream background).
• Upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates.
