Hello Sir, I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in Junior Civil Engineer recruitment of Karnataka Public Service Commission. Can somebody let me know about the eligibility criteria so that I can know if I am eligible or not? Please let me know immediately.

Eligibility criteria required to apply for Karnataka Public Service Commission Junior Civil Engineer recruitment 2020 is Candidate must have passed Diploma in Civil engineering from a recognised university. Candidate age must lie between 18 to 35 years. Upper age relaxation are available for reserved category candidates.

Minimum age limit - 18 years
Maximum age limit for general category - 35 years
Maximum age limit for Cat- 2A,2B,3A,3B - 38 years
Maximum age limit for Category - I/PWD - 40 years

Educational qualification -
Candidate must have done their Diploma in Civil Engineering (General) from a recognised Institution by the Government.

Age limit:-

Age limit is between 18 to 35 years.

Maximum age for CAT - 2A, 2B 3A, 3B - 38 years.

For category 1 / PWD - 40 years.

Age relaxation ( in upper age limit ) - 5 years for SC / ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

• In order to apply for the post of Junior civil engineer in Karnataka Public Service Commission recruitment 2020, Candidate should have completed diploma in civil engineering as the minimum educational qualification.

The maximum and minimum age bar is 18 and 35 years, respectively. The relaxation in the higher age limit is provided for the reserved categories.

Any candidate who has a diploma or a degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed polytechnic institution recognized by the Karnataka Government is eligible to appear for this examination.

There is no relaxation for this eligibility criterion for any of the reserved category candidates.
