Respected Sir/Madam, I came to know that SAIL has announced the recruitment for Attendant cum Technician Trainee. I have done Diploma in Civil Engineering. Can I eligible to apply in this recruitment? Please help me to know about this. Waiting for your response!

The basic eligibility criteria required to apply for SAIL Attendant cum Technician Trainee recruitment is given below.

>> You must have completed Matriculation and passed All India Trade Test conducted by NCVT, Government of India after completing the stipulated period of training as Trade Apprentices in an Integrated Steel Plant.

>> If you have not passed All India Trade Test, then I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for this recruitment.

Yes you are eligible to apply for Attendant cum Technician trainee with your qualification but some how you should satisfy some other qualification and experience to get eligible for Attendant cum Technician trainee.

Eligibility criteria required to apply for Attendant cum Technician :

1.You should have completed Matriculation from the recognized board.

2.Must have passed All india trade test conducted by NCVT.

3.you should have stipulated experience as trade apprentice in specific deptt.

The required eligibility to apply for SAIL Attendant cum Technician Trainee recruitment is the candidate should have passed Matriculation and passed All India Trade Test conducted by NCVT, Govt. of India. The age of the candidate should not be greater than 28 years.

AGE RELAXATION

** For SC/ST candidates = 5 years

** For OBC(Non-Creamy Layer) = 3 years

** For PWD-General = 10 years

You are eligible to apply for SAIL Attendant cum Technician Trainee recruitment after completing a Diploma course.

The disciplines mentioned in notification for recruitment of Operator cum Technician Trainee is mechanical, electrical, chemical, metallurgy, ceramics and instrumentation. It does not include diploma in civil engineering.

So, as a diploma in civil engineering, you will not be eligible for this recruitment. Only candidates belonging to above recruitment are eligible.
