Dear friends, I am interested in applying for the UPSC NDA & NA II Exam of 2020. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this examination. Can you please let me know about the eligibility criteria asap? Waiting for your response!

Any Indian citizen who has Completed 12 or pursuing 12 with science stream , age limit 16.5 - 19 year is eligible for NDA NA examination ( male only)

Those who have passed their higher secondary examination or currently appeared for examination and their age limit is in between 16.5 - 19.5 can apply for this post.
Candidate must be from PCM background.

The common eligiblility to appear for NDA / NA is that candidate must have passed or pursuing in std 12th from a recognised board.

The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible to appear.

Examination is conducted in two stages.

Eligibility to apply for UPSC NDA & NA II Exam 2020 are as follows:-

Army Wing of NDA-
Candidate must have passed their 12th of the 10+2 pattern of school education or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA & NA-
Candidate must have passed their 12th of the 10+2 pattern of school education or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized university/board.

Candidate should be born not earlier than 02 Jan, 2001 and not later than 01 Jan, 2005.

The basic qualifications required to apply for the NDA (National Defence Academy) & NA (Naval Academy) (II) examination 2020 are as below :-

* You must be an unmarried Indian male candidate.

* Your age must lie within 16.5 years to 19.5 years by 01.07.2021.

* You must have completed your Class 12th in any stream from a recognised board of education. But, to join Indian Airforce and Indian Navy wings of NDA, you are required to have pursued Mathematics and Physics at your Class 12th level.

* You must hold the physical fitness as per the service requirement norms.

°°°° For National Defence Academy Army wing: Candidates should have cleared class twelfth of the 10 + 2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination held by a state education board or university.

°°°°For airforce and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and 10 + 2 cadet entry scheme at the Indian Naval Academy : Candidates who have completed 10 plus two with physics, chemistry and mathematics.

°°°° Age limit: Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 2001 and not later than Ist July, 2004 are eligible.

Eligibility to apply for UPSC NDA & NA II Exam 2020:-

Nationality:-
Candidates must be a citizen of India.

Gender:-
Only males are eligible to apply.

Age:-
Age limit is between 16.5 to 19 years.

Marital Status:-
Applying candidate must be unmarried.
Candidates cannot marry until completing their training .

Educational Qualification:-
For Air Force and Novel Wings:
Applying candidates must have passed their 10th and 12th level exams from a recognised board or university with the main subjects of Physics and Mathematics.

For Army Wing of National Defence Academy:-
Candidates must passed their 10th and 12th level exams from a recognised board or university.

Appearing candidates:-
Those who are in their last week of qualifying year are also eligible to apply.

Physical Eligibility :-
As per the physical standard set by the commission for admission into Naval Academy examination and National Defence Academy, applying candidates must be physically fit.
