Hello friends, can anyone of you let me know about the exemption which is available in State Bank Of India Specialist Cadre Officer recruitment for SC/ST/OBC candidates? I belongs to an OBC category and I want to know about the exemptions available for me. Please tell me asap. Thank you!

Exemptions available in State Bank of India Specialist Cadre Officer recruitment for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates are mentioned below:-

—> Upper age relaxation:-
3 years for OBC candidates
5 years for SC/ ST candidates

—> Application Fee:-
Rs. 125/- for SC/ ST category candidates whereas it is Rs. 750/- for General category candidates.

SC/ST candidates can get exemptions on payment of application fee. Application fee for General, OBC and EWS category is Rs. 750/-, whereas for SC, ST candidates is Rs. 125/-. ST/SC and OBC-Non Creamy Layer candidates can get 5 and 3 years of relaxation in upper age limit respectively.

Exemptions means relaxations which is usually given to reserved categories in terms of Percentage criteria and age criteria.

In recent Notification regarding the age criteria you will have different age limits based on the type of post.

Minimum age is 20 years

And maximum age is 50 years.

There is a exemption of 5 years for SC,/ST and 3 years for OBC canidatss.

Usually you must satisfy with the educational qualification and experience required in different fields

So you should have completed graduation from the reconginsed university . There is no percentage requirement.

As no written test will be conducted to shortlist candidates, there is no exemption for SC/ST/OBC candidates in the marks basis. But, SC/ST/PWD candidates will have exemptions in the application fees & in the age limit. General candidates have to pay 750rs as application charges whereas SC/ST/PWD candidates have to pay 125rs only. Age relaxation as per govt rules.
