Hi friends, I belong to an SC category and I am planning to apply for the Assistant Civil Engineer recruitment of Karnataka PSC. As I came under the reserved category, what exemptions are available for me? I would also like to know about the age limit for applying this recruitment. Waiting for your response!

Exemptions available under Karnataka PSC Assistant Civil Engineer recruitment 2020 for reserved candidates and age limit to apply:-

Application fees for SC/ST/CAT1 candidates - Nil

2A, 2B, 3A, 3B examination fees - Rs 300/-

For all the candidates processing fee - Rs 35/-.



Age relaxation:-

For SC/ST candidates - 5 years

For PWD candidates - 10 years

For OBC, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B candidates - 3 years.

°°° The age limit should be in between 18 years to 35 years for general category candidates.
Their is relaxation to reserved category candidates in upper age limit and that is three years to OBC/2A/3A/2B/3B , 5 years to SC/ST and 10 years to PWD candidates.

°°° Fee for General category candidates - ₹ 600+35/-

₹ 300+35/- for OBC/2A/2B/3A/3B

₹ 50+35/- for Ex-serviceman candidates

Yes , you will get relaxation of 3 years in upper age . Your upper age would be 38 years as on/1/8/2020.

Age limit to apply is minimum 18 years and maximum 38 years as 1/8/2020.

Last date to apply for this recruitment is 16/9/2020.

• Age limit for Assistant Engineer

Age should be 18 to 35 years. However, it is 38 years for 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and 40 years for Category-1/PWD candidates.
