What height or weight, chest size need to become a commando and commando training is very hard or hard please i waiting for this question please fast give me answer i love commando ?

Physical requirement to become a commando are given below:-

Your eyesight should be normal and no defects

The weight of the candidate should not be more than 55 kg.

Your eyesight should be 6 by 6.

It should be minimum of 157 CM.

Candidate must be citizen of India.

Chest should be 180 cms.

The minimum acceptable height and weight for men is 157.5 cms with correlated weight and for women candidate is 152 cm and 42 kg. In case of candidates belonging to the North East and hilly areas like Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese and Garhwalis, the height is relaxed by 5 cms and weight commensurate with reduced height.

For mens
Height 157 cm
With correlated weight

For women
Height 152 cm
Weight 42 kg

Minimum chest required is 77cm and plus 5cm after expansion.

Must be an unmarried male.
Those belonging to hilly areas , their height is relaxed by 5 cm and weight commensurate with reduced height.

all candidates those attending under percent marks in physical fitness test and 50% marks in written test and are in merit will be asked to exercise and option of joining the elite para regiment by army recruiting officers just prior to their despatch.


> Physical test:-
. 5 km run to be completed within 20 minutes.
. Minimum 14 chin up.
. Minimum 40 reps to be completed with in 1 minute for push ups.
. Minimum 80 wraps to be completed within 2 minutes for situps.

Physical standard age, height, weight, chest will be as per area and State.

It should be minimum of 157 CM. Candidate must be citizen of India. Chest should be 180 cms.
