Tell me that how many MAHARATNA companies are there? Is there any any one entrance exam which can get me in there?

There are six maharatna companies, these are ONGC, NTPC, IndianOIL, COAL India, GAIL, BHEL.

All these maharatna companies recruit on the basis of GATE score, which is an objective type paper conducted by IITs.

You have to score rank within top 200 to get into anyone of these.

Next GATE exam will be conducted in March, 2016. But application process is over, you can apply for GATE 2017.

Selection in PSU is based on GATE score and interview which is conducted by PSU itself. GATE score has 80% weightage and interview has 20%.
