Re: How much percentage in graduation is required for Bank PO and Clerical examination?
I am happy to say that you are of course eligible to apply for both Bank PO and Clerical Cadre Examinations. Because there is no certain minimum percentage is required in order to be eligible for appearing in Bank PO Recruitment Exam and Bank Clerical Cadre exam, you do not need to worry about the eligibility. The minimum eligibility criteria required is "Graduation PASS" from a recognized university. Since you have successfully completed "Graduate Degree" I am sure you are certainly eligible to appear in Bank PO and Clerical Cadre Examination. The basic educational qualification required is "Graduate Degree" or Bachelor Degree in any stream from a recognized university. Try to get good command over Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning (Or) General Intelligence, General English, Computer Awareness and Marketing sections to score well in Clerk Prelims and Mains Examination and of course to get good job in Banking Sector.

Basically the main entrance examinations conducted for the recruitment of bank clerk and bank probationary officer for the different nationalised banks of India are IBPS bank examination and SBI bank examination.
For appearing the same examination for different mentioned posts the qualifications required are as here under :- * You must the nationality of India. * Your age must be within 20 years to 28 years for bank clerk where as 21 years to 30 years for bank probationary officer if you belong to general category otherwise there is provision of age relaxation of age relaxation of reserved category candidates as per the government norms. * You must have either completed your graduation degree course with any discipline or must be in the final year of same degree course from a recognized university. Percentage aggregate in the same degree course does not matters for one's eligibility for the same examination. * You must have the knowledge to work on computer as the banking works are computer based. There is no bar in percentage in graduation to be eligible for probationary officer post in banks. You need to be graduate from any recognized college or university to be eligible for probationary officer post. The same applies to the clerical post also. Apart from this, knowledge in computer applications is mandatory.
Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. you should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ or you should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute. Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/ UT is also mandatory. |
