Joining Salary And Pay Level Of College Lecturer According Government For Permanent Staff

As per the UGC 7th Pay Commission Recommendations, the rationalized entry pay (INR 37400- 67000) for Lecturer Jobs was increased to INR 1.31 Lacs.

The UGC Pay Revision of Assistant Professor Jobs under the Band Pay of INR 37400 to INR 67,000 with Grade Pay of INR 10,000 will be INR 1.44 Lacs.

The salary for the post of lecturer is different from Institute institute and as per my knowledge the salary for state government lecturer is approximately rupees 15,000 to 39,000 per month.

To become a lecturer you should crack the national Eligibility Test examination which is conducted by University Grants Commission.

To apply for this exam, you must have a master's degree with at least 55% marks secured from a recognized university, to be eligible for this exam. Once you clear the exam and receive the UGC NET Certificate, you can apply for Assistant Professor profile in reputed colleges and universities across the country.

°°° As per the University Grants Commission 7th pay commission the entry pay ( INR 37400-67000) for lecturer jobs at UGC approved Universities and colleges has been increased to INR 1.31 lakhs.
According to the UGC 7th pay commission from now onwards there will be only 3 designations at Universities and college level that is assistant professor/associate professor and professor.

°°° Now, it has been made compulsory that the candidate should have minimum educational qualification of PhD for the post of Assistant Professor in college.

Joining Salary of Lecturer In Government College are:-
If one joins with Master's degree their salary would be around Rs. 67,000.
If one have PhD degree then their salary would be around Rs. 77,000.
