Hi, are there any changes in age limit of open category from 33 to 38 as on 2016. If there are changes, please let me know about it in (MPSC).

Latest age criteria required for Open Category candidates in MPSC recruitment:

Earlier the maximum age limit for General (Open) category candidates was 35. But it's examination was not held for 3 years and because of this, candidates who were preparing for this MPSC recruitment's became ineligible. So considering this into mind, MPSC increases the age limit for all category candidates.

Earlier upper age for General Category candidates - 33 years

Latest upper age for General category candidates - 38 years

Latest upper age for reserved category candidates - 43 years

As far as my best knowledge is concerned, the age limit is still remain same since April, 2016 and all the maximum age limits with respect to the category are mentioned in detail.

MPSC refers to Maharashtra Public Service Commission and MPSC examinations are held for recruitment of administrative officers within the state of Maharashtra.

As far as you are concerned about the age limit for open category candidates for appearing in MPSC examination then it is still 19 years to 33 years. Further there is provision of age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

There is no any change in the age limit to appear in MPSC examination.

The required age limit to appear in examination is 19-33 years. There is relaxation in upper limit for OBC/SC/ST and they can appear in examination at the age of 38 years.

No limitation on number of attempts to appear in examination.

i) You must have the citizenship of India.

ii) You must have completed your graduation degree from a recognized university. Students pursuing final year of their graduation degree are also eligible.

iii) Your age must lie within 19 years to 33 years if you belong to general category. There is provision of age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

So as far as you are concerned about the maximum age limit for open category candidate for appearing in MPSC examination then it is still 33 years and so your information that the maximum age limit has been raised to 38 years is incorrect.
