Polytechnic engineer can apply for IFS? What are the qualifications required?


Can a polytechnic completed in civil engineering person apply for IFS? If not what are the qualifications for ifs for the civil engg field?

No, Polytechnic engineer can't apply for IFS .

Only graduate candidates are eligible for IFS.

Polytechnic Diploma is not equivalent to graduation.

Those who have Botany, Zoology and Chemistry or any one subject in their graduation are totally eligible for Indian Forest Services.

Apply for UPSC IFS examination in last year of your graduation.

Clear each stage of selection procedure to secure position.
