If you are having a degree of a recognized university or a diploma in Engineering or Technology of a recognized University/Institution then you can apply for the post. Maximum age limit for this post is 39 years as on 01/01/2019 (relaxation for reserved category as per government rules).

Candidates who have passed a degree in any discipline from a recognized university or a diploma in engineering / technology from a recognized institution are eligible to apply for the Industrial Development Officer recruitment in West Bengal PSC.
Candidates should have the ability to speak, read and write in Bengali for applying to the Industrial Development Officer in West Bengal PSC (it is not mandatory for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).

-> Candidate must have good communication skills, and must be fluent in Bengali Language.
