What qualifications should need to became a district commissioner & what are the entrance exams should attend?

Qualification required to became a district commissioner is ,you must have a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university with any percentage.

You will have to appear in the entrance exam called Civil Services Exam.

You must be a citizen of India

Qualification required to become a district commissioner:-
-Candidate should have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised college and university with any percentage.

-The candidate must be citizen of India.

-The candidate should be in between 21 years to 30 years for general category and age relaxed for OBC candidates by 3 years and for SC/ST candidates by 5 years.

Entrance exam to crack:-
District commissioner of police you need to crack the UPSC civil service exam. UPS store Central agency of India that conducts the CSC exam for verifying a district commissioner of police or IPS officer.

To be eligible to become a district commissioner, the candidate must have completed bachelor's or graduate degree from any stream of an authorised university or Institute.
He or she should have scored 50% of the aggregate marks in higher secondary exams.
The aspirant with a master's degree is also eligible to appear in search examination.


There is no direct recruitment available for the post of District Commissioner or deputy commissioner.
The post is filled by IPS officers. The IPS officers get the rank of district commissioner of deputy commissioner through promotion.
So, you have to appear in the Civil Service Examination that is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year.

Qualification required to became a district commissioner:-

You can become District Commissioner after qualifying in the civil service examination.
It is conducted by UPSC.
It is conducted in three stages

The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised University .

The age limit is between 21 to 32 years and candidates have to qualify in all stages for final selection.

Qualification required to become a district commissioner :-

You have to appear for the UPSC- Civil Service Exam(CSE) and you have to crack the exam to become a district commissioner.

The qualification required to become a District Commissioner is a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in any stream with a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. After that, you need to crack the UPSC-Civil Service Examination (CSE). UPSC is the central agency of India that conducts the CSE examination for qualifying a Deputy Commissioner of Police or IPS Officer. The minimum age to appear for this examination is 21 years and the upper age limit to become an IAS Officer is 32 years.

In order to become eligible for the post, firstly you need to join Police department as an Assistant Suoridentant by qualifying Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC.

He needs to have a bachelor's degree from a recognised board in any stream with 50% marks.
This entrance is not that easy, one has to prepare well for the exam.
