Educational qualification:

They should pass 8th Class from a recognized school and be a resident of the area under the Kolkata Police jurisdiction applied and must be physically and mentally strong and should not have any criminal case. And Preference is given for the NCC Cadets/ Guides/ Boy Scouts/ Civil Defence Volunteers etc.

Age limit:

The applying candidate age limit is 20 years (as on 1st Jan 2019) to maximum 60 years as per the norms of the recruitment board.
