Re: Two-tier exam pattern of IBPS?
Generally IBPS conducts online exam for recruiting eligible candidates into public sector banks that are under IBPS except SBI.
Generally for clerical cadre posts there will be 2-tier exam i.e 1. Preliminary exam. 2. Mains exam. Candidates who qualify in prelims is eligible for mains and who are in merit in the mains will be shortlisted and postings were given accordingly. Where as coming to IBPS PO, candidates have to clear 1. Preliminary examination 2. Mains examination 3. Personal Interview. Shortlisted candidates according to their scores in mains and interview will be sent to the concerned mail/mobile number. In both the exams, Tier-1 is just a qualifying nature exam candidate marks will not be counted only marks secured in mains i.e. tier-2(and interview if applicable) will be counted for final selection. Standard of prelims is easier compared to mains exam. So, don't worry join in any coaching center and start preparing and give your best.Notification will be released soon. For more details regarding the exam visit the official website of IBPS http://www.ibps.in/ |

Re: Two-tier exam pattern of IBPS?
Dear you have chosen a very good stream to make your career better in future because banking industry is the fastest growing industry in India and if we compare other departments of both central and state government then you will find one thing that promotions are very slow or no in these industries but if you once start in banking then you can achieve very good and higher ranks in banking industry even after joining at the clerical level.

English Language - 40 questions for 40 marks 02. General and Financial Awareness - 50 questions for 50 marks 03. Reasoning ability and Computer Awareness - 50 questions for 60 marks 04.
