Hello everyone, I am preparing for the Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination of Bihar PSC. This is the first time I am going to attend this competitive examination. I would like to know about the pattern of this competitive examination for this year. Can you please let me know about the pattern?

Examination is conducted in three stages. Three stages are - Preliminary, Mains and Interview.

Candidates have to appear and qualify in all stages of examination for final selection.

The pattern of Bihar PSC Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination 2020 are given below.

Examination Questions - Objective Type
Total Marks - 150 Marks
Duration - 2 Hours
Subjects - General Studies, General Knowledge and Current Affairs
Qualifying Marks - For General category is 40%, for BC category it is 36.5%, for OBC category it is 34% and for Women/SC/ST/PWD it is 32%

Type of questions - Objective type ouestions

Duration 2 hours

Total marks - 150 marks

There is no negative marking in BPSC prelims.


The minimum qualifying marks in prelims are :-

General category - 40%

OBC - 34%

Women / SC/ST/PWD - 32%.

Question paper for BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission) Combined (Preliminary) Competitive examination 2020 will comprise of 150 MCQs each of one marks. There is no negative marking for incorrect responses.

The question papers will comprises of questions from General Science, General Geography, and General Aptitude sections.

The BPSC Prelims Exam will be objective .

The total marks of the objective paper will be 150 marks of a duration of 2 Hours.

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) conducts recruitment exams to fill up vacancies in the state administration.

As per the BPSC Exam Pattern, there will be the following three stages in the 66th Combined Competitive Exam:

Mains
Interview
