Hello Sir, kindly help me to know about the pattern of the Management Trainee recruitment exams of the IBPS. I would like to know the pattern for the both Preliminary and Main exams. Kindly let me know as soon as possible. Thank you!

IBPS Management Trainee Prelims exam Pattern:-

English Language -
Number of questions - 30
Maximum marks - 30

Quantitative Aptitude -
Number of questions - 35
Maximum marks -35

Reasoning Ability -
Number of questions - 35
Maximum marks - 35

Candidates will be given 20 minutes to complete each section.
The candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut - off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for online main examination.


IBPS Management Trainee Mains exam pattern:-

Reasoning and Computer Aptitude -
Number of questions - 45
Maximum marks - 60

General / Economy / Banking Awareness - Number of questions - 40
Maximum marks - 40

English Language -
Number of questions - 35
Maximum marks - 40

Data Analysis and Interpretation -
Number of questions - 35
Number of marks - 60

English Language ( letter writing and easy ) - Number of questions - 2
Number of marks - 25

For each wrong 0.25 marks will be deducted.

°°° IBPS Management Trainee recruitment Preliminary exam:

° Total questions will be hundred.

° There will be 3 sections - English language, reasoning and quantitative aptitude. 30 questions will be of English language, 35 questions will be of quantitative aptitude and 35 questions will be of reasoning ability.


°Each question carries one mark.

° The medium of examination will be bilingual that is English and Hindi except for English language section.

Mains Exam Pattern:

° Total number of questions will be 155 and four sections namely reasoning and computer aptitude general / economy / banking awareness English language and data analysis and interpretation and to descriptive questions will be asked from the English language.


°°° There is a negative marking for every wrong answer given by the candidates and that is 0.25 mark.

What is the pattern of the IBPS Management Trainee recruitment Preliminary and Main exams 2020

The IBPS PO preliminary examination will be conducted online and candidates are allocated total duration of 1 hour to complete the preliminary exam. It consists of 3 sections with a total of 100 questions and maximum score of 100 marks.

Prelims exam comprises questions from the English Language, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. On the other hand, in the Mains exam, questions are asked from English Language, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude, Computer Knowledge and General Awareness.
