Hello Sir, I want to become an Optometrist (OD). So please tell me about its entrance exam and about the course. I want to know can I give the entrance exam after 12 or B.Sc is compulsory? Can I get admission directly after completing the exam? Please answer as soon as possible.

Yes, you can get admission directly after completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects in Chitkara University for Bachelor of Optometry course. The course duration is four years. The Chitkara School of Health Sciences in collaboration with Sankara Eye Care is conducting the course. The admission will be done on the basis of marks scored in 10+2 and interview. There is no entrance examination to study the course in Chitkara University.
