Eligibility to appear in JEE Main and Advanced 2019
Respected Sir/Madam, I am interested to appear in JEE Main and Advanced for Undergraduate course. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this entrance exam of 2019. Please let me know immediately.

Eligibility criteria to appear in JEE main and Advanced
Eligibility criteria to appear in JEE main :- The candidate should have passed 12th with Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board The age limit is between 17 years to 25 years. NIOS candidates can also apply for this exam. Diploma holder can apply in JEE main exam. Eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced:- As per advanced eligibility criteria, only the top qualified candidates of JEE Mains exam eligible to appear in advanced 2019 exam. The qualifying marks of JEE advanced 2019 are listed below:- For OBC category - 27% For SC category - 15% For ST category - 7.5% For General category - 50.5% For PWD category - 5% of each of those 4 category Age limit:- The candidates belong to general / OBC categories, must not age more than 24 years. The upper age limit is 29 years. |

JEE Mains Eligibility Criteria:
There is no age limit to apply for JEE main 2019. 10+2 or equivalent exam passed in 2017 and 2018 are eligible to apply. Candidates appearing in the 12th exams in 2019 can also apply. Diploma candidates can also apply but only for admission in IITs. There is no minimum mark required to apply for JEE Main. One can apply for JEE advanced if they have qualified in JEE Mains. |

JEE refers Joint Entrance Examination which is a national level entrance examination held for offering admission in undergraduate technical degree courses like B.Tech/B.Arch across various CFTIs such as IIT, NIT, ISM, IIITs etc. and other private engineering colleges.
From current session, JEE is going to be held by National Testing Agency twice every year once in January and once in April. Also, JEE comprises of two stages which includes JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced. The minimum education required for appearing in JEE Main for admission to B.Arch degree course is a Class 12th with Mathematics as a main subject while the minimum education required for admission to B.Tech degree course is a Class 12th with Physics, Mathematics and anyone of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject from a recognized board of education. Also, the minimum percentage of marks required in Class for appearing in JEE Main is 75% ( or 65% marks in case of SC/ST category candidates ). JEE is Joint Entrance Examination and it is conducted by NTA and IIT.
The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed 12th or appearing for 12th with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as main paper.
