Eligibility required to pursue BTech(Mechanical Engineering) in Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology is you must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with minimum eligibility marks from a recognized institute.
Admission to BTech programs are done on the basis of score of JEE main or university entrance exam.

Name of the College - Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology

Name of the Course - B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

<> Duration of the course - 2 years

<> You must have passed HSC (Academic)/ CSBE or Pre-Degree - Plus 2 level or its equivalent with minimum eligibility marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

<> And you must have gone through ant of the below mentioned curriculum with marks as prescribed below.
@ Pass with minimum eligibility marks in one of the HSC (Vocational stream) with Engineering or Technology as Vocational subjects and
@ Any one or two of the related subject like Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry.

Eligibility criteria to study B.Tech Mechanical Engineering in Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology :

>>You should have passed 10+2 from the recognized board in Physics, Maths and chemistry.

>> There is a percentage criteria about 45 % in 10+2 and for reserved candidates percentage criteria will be around 40%.

>> There is an option to opt for B.tech Mechanical Engineering in Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Tcehnology which is lateral entry.

For this you must have passed diploma examination with 45% of marks.

B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering is an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering course. The required eligibility to study BTech(Mechanical Engineering) in Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology is the candidate should have passed 12th class with physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry from a recognized board. The minimum percentage required in the 12th class to get admission in Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering is 50%. The admission of the candidate will be done on the basis of the entrance like the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

If you want to secure admission in Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology for studying B.Tech in (Mechanical Engineering) course then you must have passed 10+2 (Academic) or its equivalent must have scored above 50% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.

Entrance Exam - You need to qualify the All-India Engineering Entrance Examination exam with good marks to secure admission.

The minimum eligibility to study B Tech(Mechanical Engineering)in Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology is that candidate must be completed their 12th class in science stream (physics, chemistry, math) with minimum marks aggregate 50%.
