I am interested in appearing in the Assam Combined Entrance Examination of 2020 for BTech admission. But I don’t know about the pattern of this entrance examination. I would like to know about the pattern of this exam so that I can get admission in BTech course.

Examination pattern of Assam Combined Entrance Examination 2020-

The duration of the exam is 3 hours.

The mode of the examination is offline.

Language of the exam will be English and Assamese language.

Total number of questions will be 120.

Total number of sections will be three.

For every correct answer 4 marks will be given and for every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted from the total score for each wrong answer.

Questions paper will contain 120 questions .

The question paper will be of multiple choice questions.

Marking scheme:

1 mark will be deducted for wrong answer .

Physics - 40
Chemistry - 40
Mathematics - 40
Total -120.

Examination pattern of Assam Combined Entrance Examination 2020 are as follows:-

Duration of exam- 03 hours for each paper
Number of question- 100 questions
Type of question- multiple choice questions
Marking scheme- 1 mark for each question
There is no negative marking.

Mathematics- 100 marks- 2 hours
Physics- 100 marks- 2 hours
Chemistry- 100 marks- 2 hours
Candidates appearing in both degree courses must appear in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.

As per the brochure released for Assam Combined Entrance Examination 2020, the examination will be a 3 hours test consisting of 120 questions each of 4 marks each. Further, there will be minus marking of one marks each for each wrong responses.

Further, out of these 120 questions, 40 questions will be from Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry each.
