Hello students,
C.A. FOUNDATION (CPT) is a entry level exam for C.A. if you are graduate in engineering or postgraduate in engineering you can skip foundation (CPT)...and directly appear in C.A. INTERMEDIATE (IPCC) according to ICAI procedure for C.A... All the best... |

Yes, an engineering graduate can join in CA (Chartered Accountant) course but it will be on the basis of your 10+2 academic. The candidates who have completed 10+2 in any stream including Science, Mathematics, and Commerce with a minimum score of 60% marks in aggregate are eligible for the CA foundation course and examination. You will need to qualify for the Common Proficiency Test (CPA).
You can visit the ICAI website www.icai.org for registration. After registration fill the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) form with all the required details. Pay the application fee online and submit the form. |

But you minimum 60% marks in the graduation to be eligible for CA course. There is no upper age limit to pursue this course in India. Minimum age is 18 years.
