Percentage required in 12th PCM to study Astrophysics in Graduation?


Hi Sir,
I want to study Astrophysics in Graduation. I am studying in 12th Science with PCM group. I want to know the minimum percentage to join Astrophysics in Graduation?

Normally, admission in most of the universities is based on the performance in the entrance exam. Therefore, you must get marks above 50% marks so that you can become eligible for the entrance exam.

Hence, just be prepared for the entrance exam because admission will be based in merit after exam. Graduation in astrophysics is not offered in many universities and there are very few universities who offer it at degree level.

Before this course I need to do the entrance exam like JEE, NEET etc.

To study astro pyhsics you need to have 60%+ in PCM at 12th. After that you can take Physics as your main subject for graduation and then apply for JUST entrance exam to get into IIA (Indina Institute of Astrophysics) located at Bangalore is a good institution to study.
