Reference books to prepare for ISI admission test?


Respected Sir,
i have applied for B.Stat and B.Maths honours program
in ISI Kolkata.....I have to give admission test....
kindly tell me which are the books should I buy for
my preparation? Thank you!

ISI stands for Indian Statistical institute. This examination is conducted for the purpose of get admission in undergraduate program like, Bachelor of Statistics, Bachelor of Mathematics


-> The admission entrance exam is consist of two papers namely, (1) Objective Type (2) Descriptive Type.

Books for ISI Entrance Exam:
  • Modern Geometry by M. A. Durrel
  • Plane Trigonometry by S. L. Loney
  • Geometry Revisited by H. S. M. Coxeter
  • Elements of coordinate geometry by S. L. Loney
  • Introduction to the Theory of Numbers by I. Niven and H. S. Zuckerman
  • Elementary Number Theory by David Burton
  • Problems in Calculus of One Variable by I. A. Maron
  • Higher Algebra, by S. Barnard and J.M. Child
  • Mathematical Problems With Elementary Solutions by A. M. Yaglom
