Hi, i ve got splaced in TCS, as "graduate trainee", im a bca graduate though.. can any1 explain me wat does "graduate trainee" means?? wat all will be taught during training? n abt the salary structure?... and is it possible to continue my higher studies while working in TCS?

Graduate Trainee in TCS :

You are recruited as a fresher in TCS.

There are two job roles for the same title of this job role.

In TCS, you need to conduct few recruitment drives in colleges and universities as TCS employees.

And also your Job includes,

Amending applicant's CVs

Obtaining references

Researching

Taking incoming calls and questions

Maintaining the company database

Organising consultant's schedules

And the other one is you will be given training in the south India for a 6-8 months, this training sessions would be on any technology either Java or any other depending on the project you been recruited for.

Mostly you will trained for Java and there will be an assessment test once your training is completed.

Your sustainability in the company depends on the assessment test.

The Salary would be starting from Rs.12,000/-.

There are many rumors about this position in TCS, most of the students hired for this position will be fired for some unknown silly reasons after being trained for 6 months or 9 months.

I suggest you that better to inquire the employees who are currently working in TCS in this role.

What is the role of graduate trainee who qualified in bsc computers?

I got selected as graduate trainee in tcs at YG level.And I got stream preference like java,asp.net,assurance etc.
May i know which stream I will get ?and It is IT or ITIS?please help me with the answer.

What is the task for ITES/ITIS in TCS as a Graduate Trainee(Y) Level ? Is there only help desk based job or any other related?
