Course Opportunities after B.Sc Botany:

There are several courses available after B.Sc Botany. They are,

@ M.Sc Botany or

@ M.Sc in Biotechnology or

@ M.Sc in Horticulture or

@ M.Sc in Microbiology or

@ MBA in Pharmaceutical Management

If you are willing to get into the same Botany field in Master's then I suggest you to choose M.Sc Botany. The duration of this M.Sc in Botany course is 2 years and you can even apply for Junior Research Fellow to get into the field of Research.

You can apply for MSc in botany and forestry. Applied botany, herbal science, etc are some of the specialisations that can be opted for MSc. You can try for some other Higher Education courses like MCA or MBA. Graduate level jobs like CGL and civil services are suitable for you. You can try for banking sector jobs like Clerk for PO.

°°° If you wish to learn more about the plant species in detail then MSc botany is a good choice in detail.
It is a two year post graduate course that intends to equip students with in-depth knowledge of the subject and the course is designed to introduce students to a botanist world and to create qualified botanist.
The minimum eligibility to apply for Master of Science in botany courses in India is to have an undergraduate degree in botany or any other equivalent academic qualification.

Many reputed universities in the country offer MSc botany courses are Saint Xaviers Mumbai, Christ University Bangalore, Miranda House, New Delhi.

°°° An MSc botany qualification can open up a lot of doors for you in both private and public Institutions and post graduates usually take up different roles in research Institutions or in the medical field and it is always recommended to go abroad for further studies as resources available to botany students in India are limited.
